We love to simplify things in an attempt to make them
easier to digest and understand. If we fail or lose consecutively we say we're
out of luck, and that is it. Bad luck caught us and there is nothing we can do
but to accept this bad luck and wait for it to leave!
What is this! There is no bad luck!
If you are failing consecutively it is due to causes
that can be explained if they are carefully studied, correct your mistakes with
every new attempt and keep experimenting until you succeed, never sit on your
ass crying for your bad luck, because there is no such thing.
If whenever you go to that interview they tell you the
Director just left or stayed home sick, or travelled, it is not bad luck, it is
just coincidence. What happened in a certain way, happened that way. It's not
your fault! It's not your bad star! It is all a result of a big chain of facts,
all of which can be analyzed and explained thoroughly.
Imagine the scenario where everything goes wrong to
you at the same time, you lost your job, you spouse left you, you son got
seriously ill, and moreover you had an accident that destroyed your car and
left you badly injured in the hospital ... If you think all this is bad luck
you will cry and mourn your luck and wish you were dead. But if you look at
things as they are, if you see a succession of cause and effect that led you to
where you are, you will be able to see future successions of cause and effect
that will lead you to a better situation.
